Humatica, the leading private equity specialist advisor for portfolio company organisational effectiveness, has advised Baird Capital’s private equity team on its recent investment in UGSI. UGSI is a leading provider of Water Quality Management Solutions and Chemical Feed Systems to the municipal water and wastewater utility markets. Humatica was engaged by Baird Capital to provide Organisational Due Diligence advice for this transaction.
The investment will enable the company to fuel continued growth due to the increasing prevalence of municipal water quality issues driven by climate change, increasing population density, aging infrastructure and resource scarcity.
Marcel Bättig, Humatica Partner, commented:
“Besides providing the encompassing organizational due diligence Humatica is often retained for, we also partnered with Baird to think through organizational development options for key management talent for UGSI and the future-state operating model. This to help ensure that Baird and the management team collaborate effectively from Day 1.”
Rob Ospalik, Baird Capital Partner, added:
“Humatica once again proved to be integral in carrying out the organizational due diligence on this transaction. We have partnered on several transactions over the years, and their expertise in the area of organizational effectiveness is second to none.”
The Humatica team was led by Marcel Bättig, Partner.
